William Fan is a Berlin-based fashion designer. He finished his BA Fashion Design at ArtEZ Academy of Design & Arts in Arnhem. After working for Alexander McQueen, Fan completed his MA programme at Kunsthochschule Weissensee, Berlin. With his graduation collection, the designer founded his namesake brand WILLIAM FAN in 2015 in Berlin. He was the winner of the H&M Fellowship Programme, followed by being nominated for the international Woolmark Prize. In 2023, ARD produced the 60-minute documentary “In between,” which shows an intimate view of the emerging designer.
